For this week's Artsy Wednesday challenge, we were to create a manicure using both matte and glossy finishes. I love the look of a matte topcoat over a glitter polish, so I decided to use something with a bit of sparkle. I painted my nails with Rescue Beauty Lounge's Black Russian, then added matte stripes using Essie' Matte About You Topcoat.
I love the difference in texture! The look is subtle but I like it! What do you think?
