Info Post

With the cold weather's arrival here on the East coast, I find my skin requires a little extra TLC these days. I've made a roundup of some of my favorite products for combatting the havoc that dry, cold Winter weather can wreak on skin.

1. Lumene Sensitive Touch SOS Cream:
When your face has a dryness "SOS!", this cream is there to help. It goes on very light, not heavy or sticky at all.. but delivers an intense hydration boost. I love using a little before applying makeup to smooth and hydrate any dry patches.. and I even like it for my elbows and knees!
$19.99- available at Cvs.com

2. Farm House Fresh Whoopie Cream:
I have dry hands to begin with.. now combine that with my frequent hand washing (its cold season!) and dry Winter winds and we have a real problem! FHF's Whoopie Cream is the answer. This ultra-hydrating hand cream delivers great moisture as well as the most scrumptious vanilla scent!
$14.00 - available at Farmhousefreshgoods.com

3. Artistry Intensive Skincare Renewing Peel:
Sometimes my skin gets too dry for moisturizer alone to handle- thats where Aristry's Intensive Peel comes in. This gentle but effective treatment removes dead, dry skin and leaves you with a soft, fresh face. A clean slate for the battle against dry skin! It is really incredible how gentle this product is. No redness or irritation.. just very soft, renewed skin! Its a bit of a splurge, for sure.. but lasts a long time and I don't own another product like it!
$101.50 - available at Amway.com

4. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact:
I am guilty of forgetting to put on sunscreen in the Winter. I admit it! I love Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer not only for the convenient package and light but thorough coverage- but also because its built-in SPF 20 doesn't let me forget my sunscreen! I also like how non-drying it is, and how you can build the coverage in layers if you want to.
$45.00 - available at Lauramercier.com

5. DHC Velvet Skin Coat
This makeup primer adds another layer of protection to my skin on cold Winter days, and keeps makeup in place perfectly through all sorts of weather! It goes on very smoothly and stays in place all day.
$22.50 - available at DHCSkincare.com

What are your favorite cold weather skincare products? I'd love to hear in the comments below!
