I have two polishes to show you today, both from Never Naked Nail Lacquer.
"Up on Blocks" and "Down on the Creek Bank" are from the upcoming Country Collection, launching in 2013. Both polishes are well suited for layering, as you can see in the above pictures. I've shown them both on their own just so you can get a good idea of what they look like. However, both work best as topcoats. "Up on Blocks" is a clear base with multi glitter in the orange/brown/gold family, and also has some holographic sparkle. "Down on the Creek Bank" does have a bit of tan color to the base, and a healthy dose of shimmer. The black and brown glitter make it quite lovely over a nude polish as shown above.
Both of these glitter polishes applied very nicely, and there was no separation of the polishes or any excessive shaking necessary.
Whats nice about these two is that they are very neutral, which is great! Glitter polishes/topcoats tend to be bright and colorful, and sometimes not very well suited for layering over nude and neutral polishes. These two allow you to add some glitter and sparkle to a manicure while keeping things quite demure! An elegant take on glitter polish :)
I'm looking forward to seeing what Never Naked Nail Lacquer has in store for the launch! You can see their shop (and their beautiful holiday collection!) here
Thank you so much for reading!
All the best,
Jessica
