I have two great face products to show you today, both from Rae Cosmetics. I recently tried out their Surface Primer and Climate Control Mineral Tint, and was so pleased with both of them. I own about a million makeup primers, but Rae's Surface Primer is really in a league of its own. It doesn't have that dry, silicone feel that many other primers have. It goes on a little more liquid, and dries quickly to a smooth, light canvas upon which to apply the rest of your makeup. I love the fact that it has SPF, especially now that it is winter and I (shamefully!) forget to put on sunscreen often. It also has the tiniest bit of iridescence. It gives you a nice, subtle glow without making you look like a disco ball. The moisturizing formula also has antioxidants that nourish your skin. This primer packs quite a punch, I love it!
The Surface Primer pairs perfectly with the Climate Control mineral tint. This product, available in 8 shades, is an excellent foundation. It is water-based and SO LIGHT! It doesn't clog my pores or feel heavy or greasy at all. It covers up imperfections nicely, and also has sunscreen and moisturizers. Its an all-in-one wonder. Very much like a BB cream, but it doesn't white you out or look chalky as BB creams often do. Definitely worth a try if you've been looking for a lightweight, all-in-one foundation/tinted moisturizer. Both the Surface Primer and Mineral Tint can be found at raecosmetics.com .
