Info Post
Did you have a good weekend? It sure was windy here last night! I spent most of the weekend putting my studio back together after painting my big desk with a bright coat of white. No more ugly fake wood : )

Before I get to the FAB-U-LOUS makeover I have for you today, I wanted to remind you to swing over and enter the giveaway I have going on right now! To celebrate achieving my first blogging goal of 100 followers, I'm giving away an awesome book, authored by someone very near and dear to my heart, that shows you how to create Quilted Frames for your Artwork. Here's some examples from the book:

Aren't they beautiful? This book is tailored to beginners and experts alike and would make the perfect Christmas gift this year! So please join me in celebrating my milestone and click HERE to enter the giveaway! Okay, now onto the show!

This is the story of an ugly duckling.

Ok, so this mirror isn't horrible, but definitely not my style! However it was free and the perfect size to hang over the table in my entry. So this baby got a facelift...

with STRIPES!

I spray painted the frame of the mirror a glossy white, then taped off the stripes and painted them the same as my wall color.

After a good protective coat of clear gloss, the mirror was ready to be hung! I am so smitten with this makeover! It pairs perfectly with my two-tone table I recently repainted.

I snagged a few simple accessories from around the house to complete the look. And if you look closely you'll see a sneak peek of my next post... it's the perfect decor for the coming cold weather!
